The Absent Plot Mystery
This book was a terrible disappointment. It was my son's first "Chapter Book" and almost put him off reading forever. There is no plot, the premise is absurd and one cannot tell one character from another as they are so poorly developed. It was required summer reading for his school and I thought we'd never get through it.

I had heard this was a wonderful series; perhaps we just chose the worst of the lot.

No trouble, just a surprise at the end
It is a mystery in the sense that the children do not know wholeaves them messages, but that's about it all.Nothing is happening thatmakes the story really keep the reader in suspense.

Classic Jazz for Bass Vol.1
Published in Paperback by Warner Brothers Publications (04 September, 2002)
Authors: Warner Brothers Publications and Warner Bros Publications
Average review score:

A Travesty, Plain and Simple
This book will not teach you how to play jazz bass. Instead it attempts to teach you how to play jazz GUITAR on the bass! Pretty stange, huh? The authors of this book are instructing people to incur the worst possibility transgression a bass player can make: to play the lead line instead of supporting the solo instrument as part of the rhythm section. Perhaps if they called the book "How to Use the Bass as a Solo Instrument" it might have made sense, but that obviously is not the case. What were the authors thinking? What were the authors drinking? I'll never know...

The Dinosaur Mystery
Published in Library Binding by Bt Bound (October, 1999)
Authors: Gertrude Chandler Warner and Charles Tang

Ms. Warner! We accuse you of writing simple junk!
The characters are less than one dimensional. The plot is under-under-under-developed. Please, stop writing.

Jim Croce Photographs and Memoirs

Authors: Brothers Publications Warner and Jim Croce

Overated Schmuck
There are Jim Croce fans, i know. I'm not one of them. Coming from a troubled, poverty stricken ethnic background you would expect abit of soul. Instead- Time in a bottle -wistful, yes but significant? Or Bad Bad leroy Brown-ok a nice noveltysong-move over roger Miller. For the intellectually challenged-enjoy this book and adoe your hero.
